Terms and conditions
Completion and signature of the client registration form will be deemed acceptance of the following terms and conditions:
1)Wags and Whiskers agrees to provide a service to the client as specified in the Wags and Whiskers client registration form.
2)The client agrees to the charges as detailed in the Wags and Whiskers service charges, and notes that these charges may change in the future. These charges will not change without prior notification to the client.
3)The client is responsible for providing all food and other requisites for their pets whilst in Wags and Whiskers care. Any additional items purchased will be added to the clients account.
4)The client is responsible for all veterinary treatment costs incurred during the assignment.
5)In the interest of ensuring prompt veterinary treatment should your pet fall ill whilst in Wags and Whiskers care, clients are requested to advise their vet that their pet/s is in our care, and to authorise any treatment deemed necessary.
6)The client must nominate a reliable person as their emergency contact, who is responsible to authorise veterinary treatment at any level including euthanasia (only if deemed necessary by the vet caring for the animal).
7)Any boarding animal must have effective and up to date vaccinations if necessary.
8) All dogs in Wags and Whiskers care must be lead trained, and sociable with people and dogs.
9)Dogs will not be exercised off the lead unless instructed by the client. The client therefore accepts complete liability for any loss and/or damage caused as a result of the clients dog.
10)Payment is due by cash at commencement of the assignment, or by cheque payable to Claire Foster 7 days before commencement of the assignment.
11)For all assignments a non refundable booking fee is payable, detailed on the invoice. The booking is not confirmed until the booking fee has been received.
12)Wags and Whiskers cannot be held responsible for the safety of any animal that is allowed unrestricted outdoor access during the assignment.
13)Delivery and collection of any animal is strictly by appointment only. Any appointment missed without prior notification will be subject to a £10 charge as detailed in the service charges.
Notes
If an animal has unrestricted outdoor access in the event of the animal going missing Wags and Whiskers will notify the vet, identichip (if applicable), and insurance company (if applicable). Wags and Whiskers will not be held responsible for the loss of an animal.
Boarding is charged per 24hrs commencing from arrival time.
